POEM BY POEM TURKEY

Poem by Poem Turkey concept is created by Genna Istanbul and the film is produced by ATL Production. The film demonstrates the diversity, richness and unity of Turkey with a fresh and unique approach. The project was directed by Şenol Korkmaz acoompanied by two directors of photography; Michel Dierickx and Avi Karpick.

The film combines selected verses from Turkish republican-era poets who, despite differing views, reflect their shared inspiration and love for their country. The recording is accompanied by epic images of Turkey’s people and landscapes, demonstrating the united people of Turkey living in peace.

Poem by Poem Turkey is the first step in a comprehensive project run in collaboration the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to promote not only Turkey’s touristic values but also its cultural and artistic richness to the world. The second step is to promote the gems of Turkish poetry abroad, which will be followed by projects that will feature different branches of art.
